Srinu Vytla is not one among those who is going to take things lying down and so a retort of sorts was expected for the scathing attack done by Prakash Raj but not many could even in their wildest dreams would have expected it to come so soon. Today the director arranged a press meet and replied in his own way to all the comments and allegations made by Prakash Raj.
Srinu Vytla made it clear that he is not in position to learn about direction from someone like Prakash Raj who has made something like Ulavacharu Biriyani. It is laughable that Prakash Raj talks about arrogance and humility when he is the one facing so many charges of banning and other such issues in various industries, the director pointed. He also said that he respects Pawan Kalyan and has worked with NTR and there is nothing negative shown about them in the film. He went on to accuse Prakash Raj about sabotaging the film Aagadu by giving such statements during the run of the film.
Finally the director once again made it clear that it was the actor’s behaviour that was responsible for his ouster from the film which prompted the actor to hold a press meet and dedicate a poem to me.” As the poem was dedicated to me I used it in the film”, said Srinu Vytla.
Well that’s in short what happened at the press meet, which in hindsight looks like an overreaction. Given the respective histories of both the parties, it would have been better if they had simply ignored each other and move on. These kinds of press meet lead to an ugly environment in the industry without any doubt. If one still had to settle scores, which is their personal choice, they could do so personally, it would have been preferable rather than washing the dirty linen in public.
How many of you support these press meets and if you do which one do you support? If it’s none do you agree with our view of personal settlement? Share us your thoughts.
