Director Shankar is considered one of the country’s star filmmakers. But then, his recent track record is not impressive. He recently came up with Indian 2, the sequel to Indian, but it failed to impress the viewers at the box office.
The delay of the project and Shankar going to Indian 2 in the middle of shoot already hurt the project.

Despite that, some of Ram Charan’s fans are positive about the actor’s next film, Gamechanger, with Shankar. But the reality seems to be different.
When Gamechanger was announced, fans and industry insiders hoped the movie would become a big hit thinking that Shankar can be back with Social Subjects. But the film slowly slipped into delays, and eventually, the craze surrounding the film came down.

After the failure of Indian 2, the craze surrounding Gamechanger has gone for a toss. It is clear that Shankar is struggling with Social Subjects as well.
Shankar disappointed everyone with his script execution in Indian 2, and many scenes appear below the standards of the director’s prowess.

Recently, Ormax Media released the list of movies that are most awaited in Telugu. The list mentioned the names Devara, Pushpa, and OG. But, Gamechanger which is equally on par with other films in terms of craze is absent on the list.
Films like Spirit and Jai Hanuman, where the shoot has not started yet are also on the list but Gamechanger is missing. This clearly states that the anticipation around Gamechanger dropped big time.
