Superstar receives summons from court

tamil hero vijay‘Kaththi’ made whooping collections and became one of the biggest grossers in Tamil Film Industry. Young superstar Vijay’s stardom increased many times with this latest block buster. Telugu audience thought that this movie would be remade into Telugu and Pawan Kalyan’s name came into forefront. But Pawan declined doing the remake. Finally, the makers have decided to go for Telugu dubbing.

But superstar Vijay and director Murugadoss received summons from Thanjavur Court to appear the hearing on 7th january, 2015. Anbu Rajasekhar claims that the story of ‘Kaththi’ is copied from his documentary ‘Thaga Bhoomi’ meaning Thirsty Earth. He submitted the copy of his documetary as evidence. After hearing the petitioner’s plea, court issued summons to the superstar, director and producers.

Besides the copying allegations, Rajasekhar also filed another petition asking for compensation for using his story. For which the court has ordered the trio to appear before court on 23rd January next year. And he also asked for a direction to stop the film from being dubbed into other languages. By these developments, it is clear that ‘Kaththi’s Telugu dubbing version isn’t going to come anytime soon.
