Anjaan is the upcoming film of actor Suriya and its teaser was supposed to release few days ago but as we all know it has been postponed. Some silly reason are being peddled as reason for this last minute delay. There is however a section in trade which feels that it was done to avoid embarrassment for the film and it’s star.
Suriya undoubtedly is a big star in Tamil but it also can’t be denied that he is far from the top slot. Even in terms of crazy fan bases he isn’t among the top. The reason to mention this is in a weeks time,to be more precise on June 22, teaser of another most awaited film of the year in Tamil cinema, Katthi, is going to be released.
Katthi stars Vijay in the lead and is directed by AR Murugadoss. This film is the most awaited Tamil film among the releases slated to happen in the second half of the year. Also Samantha acts as heroine in Katthi as well. So releasing Anjaan teaser now meant that it would have been overshadowed and forgotten in a weeks time. The makers would have to restart the buzz again which would be an embarrassing situation to another biggie. All of this are said to be reasons behind the postponement of the Anjaan teaser. Now its expected arrive along with Vijay’s Katthi or immediately after its release.
