One who saw Tapsee in her latest films ‘Baby’ (Hindi) and ‘Ganga’, agrees that she surely isn’t stuck to sweet and innocent characters. Tapsee has moved on and is presently doing challenging roles. As long as she did sweet characters, running behind trees for heroes, Tapsee didn’t taste success.

Once she started accepting out of the box roles, Tapsee’s work is getting recognised. After experimenting with challenging characters like the secret agent in ‘Baby’ doing real stunts like a hero and playing a possessed character in horror comedy ‘Ganga’, Tapsee is now playing a standalone role with negative shades in her upcoming Tamil flick ‘Vai Raja Vai’. People may call the role a second fiddle, but she doesn’t care.
She is happy doing roles which a heroine gets to do rarely in the industry. For her, Bollywood is tough but Kollywood had been welcoming and easier for newbie’s in the industry. Tapsee has experience doing films in Tollywood, Kollywood and Bollywood. Her judgement surely holds good as it comes from her experience as an actress without any film background in all the three film industries.
