It was only a matter of time the newly formed Telugu state, Telangana had its own film chamber. And so the time has finally arrived today.
A body named Telangana Movie Chamber of Commerce has originated today with Dil Raju as its inaugural President. The seeds of inception of a film chamber for Telangana were heard from a long time as there was always a dissent among the artists belonging to the region even during united AP. It was felt that people from Telangana region were under represented back then. So as soon as the new state was carved out, a separate film chamber was the first thing on their platter, serving the needs of these people.
Apart from President a governing body too has been formed and they are all intending to arrange a full-fledged meeting soon, including all the artists. The well being of the industry and development of artists from the Telangana state is the primary concern for the chamber.
