The results of the 2026 Telugu Film Producers Council elections are out, with the C Kalyan-led Mana Panel emerging as the dominant group. The panel secured several key office-bearer positions and won 12 of the 15 Executive Committee seats.
C Kalyan Elected President Unanimously
Senior producer C Kalyan was unanimously elected president of the Telugu Film Producers Council before polling began for the remaining positions.
Mana Panel candidate Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao won the Treasurer post with 383 votes.
The two Vice President positions were divided between the panels. Mohan Vadlapatla of the Mana Panel secured 338 votes, while KL Damodar Prasad of the Progressive Panel won the second position with 274 votes.
Mana Panel Wins Both Joint Secretary Posts
The Mana Panel also won both Joint Secretary positions. Ammiraju Kanumilli finished with 416 votes, while Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana secured 398 votes.
Mana Panel Claims 12 of 15 EC Seats
The Mana Panel registered a strong performance in the Executive Committee elections, winning 12 of the 15 available seats.
Padmini Nagulapalli topped the EC tally with 426 votes. The other winners from the Mana Panel were Sunil Narang, JV Mohan Goud, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, DVV Danayya, Vamsi Nandipati, Palli Keshava Rao, Vajja Srinivasa Rao, J Pullarao, Bapiraju Ballipadu, P Ramakrishna Goud and SK Nayeem Ahmed.
The Progressive Panel won the remaining three EC seats. Its successful candidates were Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, popularly known as Mythri Ravi, DS Rao and K Niranjan Reddy.
Mythri Ravi received 412 votes, while DS Rao and K Niranjan Reddy secured 337 and 281 votes, respectively.
Overall, the Mana Panel won the President and Treasurer posts, one Vice President position, both Joint Secretary posts and 12 Executive Committee seats. The Progressive Panel secured one Vice President post and three EC seats.
At the time of publication, the matter concerning the General Secretary positions remained before the court. Further clarity on those posts is awaited.
