Krish Jagarlamudi is one Tollywood director who made sensible movies with emotional connect and that sets him apart from the routine stuff making guys in the film industry. Today is the big day and his debut directorial venture ‘Gabbar Is Back’ in Bollywood is going for theatrical release.
Though Krish was called for remaking his ‘Gamyam’ in Hindi, he ended up remaking Tamil superhit movie ‘Ramana’ (Tagore in Telugu) with action king Akshay Kumar. He has all praises for his hero for being very punctual and very jovial, playing pranks on the sets. He calls him a big prankster.

Krish talks about the non-indulgent nature of his producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is a popular film maker himself who directed many classics in Bollywood like ‘Devdas’ and ‘Ram Leela, Goliyon Ki Raasleela’. When his debut Hindi movie is set for release, Krish is already half way in the making of his Telugu film ‘Kanche’ and the message is clear that he aspires to work both in Bollywood and Tollywood.
