It has become extremely tough for the film industry to bring audience to the theatres in substantial numbers. Making matters worse is the atrocious heat wave in the Telugu states which is making the public think twice before stepping out.

But even so, a portion of the Telugu audience are stepping out to watch films in theatres, but they are not being delivered a pleasant experience by the theatres management.

Last week, it was the case of complaints against the famous Vimal theatre in Hyderabad, which is operated by Mythri. This theatre is regarded as one of the best single screen in Hyderabad for its exceptional sound system and visual quality. However, it faces complaints about air conditioning.

A similar complaint was raised earlier in the past, where people said the air conditioning inside the auditorium was not working properly. It got elevated again with the release of Veerabhadrudu last week as fans quarrelled about low conditioning.

Now a similar problem has been pointed out at the Parvatipuram Sri Cinemas as audience got into a tussle with the management for lack of air conditioning.

The extreme heat wave outside is already troubling the common public, so it is the responsibility of theatre management to be particularly careful about air conditioning. It is impossible for the audience to sit in a close auditorium for three hours without proper air conditioning.

So this summer season has essentially brought a new headache to the audience with the AC issues. This must be rectified at the earliest prior to the release of Peddi which is the next big film that’d bring the audience to theatres in big numbers.
