Nani’s The Paradise has achieved a huge milestone as it has emerged as the biggest Tollywood movie in advance sales on BookMyShow in 2026, beating every other film released this year.
The film finished with around 9.41 lakh tickets sold on BookMyShow. Peddi stands next with around 8.75 lakh, followed by The Raja Saab with 5.05 lakh. Mana Shankara Vara Prasad and Ustaad Bhagat Singh have recorded around 3.94 lakh each.
The bigger picture becomes even more impressive when BookMyShow and District numbers are combined. The Paradise has crossed 18 lakh tickets in total pre-sales, making it the highest advance booking movie among 2026 releases so far.
For Nani, this is a huge achievement. The film was carrying unusually high theatrical expectations for his market, and the advance numbers show just how strongly audiences were waiting for it.
Interestingly, the momentum has not completely disappeared after the release, despite extremely mixed reviews. The night shows are strong, showing Nani’s pull and the film’s hype. The Paradise is currently selling around 20,000 tickets per hour on BookMyShow. That shows there is still strong curiosity, and the audience themselves want to witness the hype in theatres despite the mixed response from the early shows.
But the real battle starts now.
Advance bookings can deliver a huge opening, but they cannot guarantee a long run. The Paradise has already proved that audiences were willing to book tickets based on the hype. Now word of mouth has to do the heavy lifting.
The holiday period, strong Telangana connect, Nani’s market and some impressive sequences could work in the film’s favor. If audience response improves, The Paradise can build on its massive start.
