Prakash Raj initially clarified that he is not joining any political party, it is a doubt that came about due to his recent outspoken incidents and some comments that were perceived against the ruling government. He did not stop there and went on to add that in his view, no actor should join politics.
The actors due to their acting talents get a fan base, and they must be responsible for them, asserted Prakash Raj, further adding that such situation (actors turning leaders) is a disaster for India. While he is right in a way, it not a general truth, as there numerous examples of film actors making good leaders.
