It is becoming increasingly common for Telugu film starts to approach the court and acquire exclusive digital rights which restrict other individuals and media channels from using their images against their will.
Several heroes like NTR and Chiranjeevi have already completed this procedure and they are holding exclusive rights to their imagery on social platforms. Even Allu Arjun did thus very recently.
It can perhaps be argued that this social media content is scrutiny is the need of the hour these days after we look at what is happening on some of the leading platforms like Instagram.
Every other social media post regarding Telugu films is featuring extremely abusive and demeaning morphed pictures in the comments section. We are seeing extreme heat that is being circulated in the name of sarcasm here.
For instance, we have a bunch of insane morphed stickers and GIFs of NTR, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi, which are being extensively shared on Instagram comments section. This is becoming extremely prevalent with every other post featuring these pics in comments.
At first, it might have looked a bit funny, but now we have arrived at a point where this has become a standard abuse practice. It is extremely disgusting to see the hard-working heroes, who have hundreds of crores riding on them being subject to such causal hate and morphed imagery on social media.
If some of these big heroes initiate Police action and take legal steps against these individuals who are sharing such extremely offensive morphed pics on Instagram comments, then this phenomena could be subsided.
Earlier, Allu Arjun did something like this on Twitter, and it showed a lot of effect at that point in time. Perhaps it is time for other big heroes to follow this path and take extremely adequate action against these individuals.
