The postponement of Yevadu has come as a shocker for several low budget Telugu which were lined up for release in the third and last week of August. Film such as DK Bose, Abbayi Mass Ammayi Class and Anthaku Mundhu Aa Tharuvatha were lined up for release but with Yevadu release being pushed to end of August, they have to wait longer.
Even in September, most of these films can’t be released because Nagarjuna’s Bhai is coming out in the first of second week. Even if a small film manages to release in between then its shelf life is not more than a week.
Even if few low-budget Telugu films manage to release this weekend, its shelf life is still restricted to one week because Pawan Kalyan-starrer Attarintiki Daaredhi is scheduled to release next week. What other option is left with these films to release their films?
