The 120 foot tall gold coated statue of the first premier of the People Republic of China is demolished citing the reason of not having enough approvals. The statue worth $465,000 constructed in Henan Province in China by the contribution of local Business man and farmers.

It gained enough attention from the world after its first photos released in the media before three days. After that Chinese authorities ordered demolition over constructing without taking prior approvals. There are pictures being posting in Chinese twitter like platform Weibo showed that the statue coated with gold had been demolished in middle and covered with black sheet.
The netizens opined that the money spent on the project would have siphoned to help the farmers in Henan region who are facing dire conditions since past few months.
