Usually, when multiple films are releasing at the same time for a festival, the distributors put money on what they feel is the best bet. We don’t see them picking whatever comes and hope that one among them clicks.

However, an exact opposite scenario can be witnessed with the upcoming Sankranthi releases. Among the three expected movies, NTR Kathanayakudu, RC12 and F2, prominent distribution network UV Creations has reportedly bagged the rights of RC12, and F2 for Guntur territory. It will be interesting to see how they plan the releases given the expectation would be high from these films.
Indirectly, it also shows the appeal these Sankranthi 2019 films carry. NTR Kathanayakudu is already sold for the area and the others two are taken now. The prices talked about are also huge. Fireworks are expected at the box office with the level of interest that is being shown on these movies by the fans and buyers alike.
