Vishal’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Nataraja Thaney Raja (NTR), which was scheduled to release today has been postponed for reasons unknown. There is not much clarity on the issue by the makers. However, we hear from sources that the problem is due to the money of Gemini Film Circuit owes theatre owners.
Apparently, the distribution rights of Vishal’s film was earlier with Gemini Film Circuit, who due to heavy debts couldn’t release the film on Minimum Guarantee basis. Knowing this, Vishal decided to release the film under his home banner Vishal Film Factory.
However, theatre owners are not ready to screen the film until Gemini Film Circuit clears its debts. Gemini owners distributors lot of money after Mani Ratnam’s Kadali turned out to be a big flop.
