But one of his films was recently released directly on OTT with no hype, buzz, or promotions. We are talking about the horror film BOO which started streaming on Jio Cinema last week.
Despite having a strong star cast which comprised Vishwak Sen, Rakul Preet Singh, Megha Akash, Manjima Mohan, and Prudhviraj, there were no promotions either on the ground level or on social media.
The film is directed by Vijay, who has directed some big films like Thalaivi, Anna, Nanna, and others. Vishwak Sen didn’t even post a single promotional tweet about the film. It was like this film never existed for him.
After its release also, no one is talking about the film on social media. The digital audience also seems to have ignored it completely. Those few who have seen it are saying that it’s a poor version of Ram Gopal Varma’s Darna Mana Hai.
