Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is all set to release in 6000 screens worldwide in 6 Languages. Along with a big release in the South, Rajinikanth is also targeting a massive release in Hindi this time. The movie however is releasing with same name in Hindi too. “Kochadaiiyaan is the name of the protognist of the film. Ko means King in Tamil and Chadaiiyaan means one with a lot of hair. Usually it is synonymous with the name of Lord Shiva. Since it is the name of the main lead in the film, dad convinced us to use the same title in Hindi too”, says Soundarya who is directing the film.

Speaking about the high expectations on her directorial debut, “I know the expectations are high. Being a star kid, directing a Superstar like Rajini, they will be high but dad took 31 years to reach here, at least give me 15 years”. However Soundarya has to know that to get a chance for 15 years from audience and fans, she has to get her debut movie right.
