Actor Prabhas has slowly but steadily created a huge following for him, it is not yet universal but in one of biggest distribution territories like Nizam, he is right among the top stars. All this could be a thing of past with Baahubali though as his career would be divided pre Baahubali and post Baahubali in terms of stardom. Keeping this in mind the star is already making moves for post Baahubali period.
Buzz is getting stronger in the industry that the star is going to do two back to back films within a short gap. These films are rumoured to be directed by Surjeet Singh and Puri Jagannadh respectively. Now we all know that Baahubali has completed its shooting and slated to release in summer. We know that the actor is going to do the second part of the film as well.
The question we are asking here is whether Prabhas should take up those two projects or at least one of those before the second Baahubali releases? Sources say so far nothing has been shot for part 2 of Baahubali. If that’s true and it takes same time as part 1 is making the second part that would be lots of years wasted for the ‘star’ in Prabhas isn’t it?
As it is two years have passed since the release of Mirchi and with SS Rajamouli sharing the credits for Baahubali wouldn’t it be better off for the star do a film intermittently? At the end of the day it is these new films besides Baahubali that will be a true barometer for his stardom, wouldn’t it be?
