If there is one actress who reminds the Telugu audience of legendary actress Savithri, that is Nitya Menon. The reason is simple. She looks as gorgeous and gracious as Savithri even when fully draped in saree and brings out emotions with as much ease as Savithri with her large expressive eyes naturally. On a lighter note, both look a bit on heavier side.
And with her latest release ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’ she proved that she is no nonsense actress who doesn’t measure her success with the number of big movies or big heroes she has worked with but the quality of the movies she chose to work for. Nitya simply stole the show with her outstanding performance looking great both in the young girl’s character and the vintage lady in her middle age.
With such talent at disposal, why is Telugu Film Industry turning a blind eye towards Nitya? Take the example of Nitya’s present project on sets ‘S/O Satyamurthy’. There had been rumours on Nitya that she had been interfereing in the work of director Trivikram Srinivas and causing a lot of headache to the film maker.
When a big hero like Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan or Allu Arjun interfere in any director’s work, it is said to be ‘giving creative inputs’. But when a talented actress like Nitya speaks her opinion, she is said to be turning a headache. Nevertheless, director Trivikram Srinivas or somebody from the film’s unit didn’t say anything officially on her. But whoever wrote such crap should learn to respect talent and not write anything they want on deserving souls. That’s how Nitya retorted back with her performance in MMIRR.
