The crux of the matter is that the Tamil equivalent body of MAA should take action on the remarks made by a comedian (non-filmy) on Superstar Mahesh Babu. While the response is by the Nadigar Sangam is awaited, the issue has now become a hot top among the netizens of Telugu and Tamil states.
The act of MAA is perceived to be as making a mountain out of a molehill. The response has the potential to snowball into an issue that could garner much larger attention than what it earlier did with the video. Many who had only heard of it will now be discussing it when silence would have made everyone forget it.
Also, the letter coming from Naresh is raising many eyebrows and causing further tension. Was it a collective decision of the MAA body or an individual’s choice? If that is the case why were many such previous instances neglected? The letter has brought the skeletons out of the closet and putting things in the public domain. We have to wait and watch how the drama unfolds further.
