Piracy as we all know is a big menace for any film industry not just Indian. Many have tried various methods to curb it but so far they have been unsuccessful.
Now Tamil film industry courtesy of its producers is coming with a drastically new idea that might turn the heads around the world. They are, if reports are to be believed, looking at banning the films for three months. Yes they are toying with the idea of having no releases for three films. The idea behind this seems to be that if there are no movies what the Pirates will pirate and how will they survive that long without any new movies.
Clearly this is a radical idea and hence there is a divided opinion on the implementation. Do you think simple banning of films would do the trick?
