A recent study on Cyber Crime Police records have revealed that Women are being easy targets for the Cyber criminals in recent years. With the advent of social networking sites, young women are sufferers in most cases.
According to the records of Hyderabad and Cyberabad Cyber Crime records, in the last 10 months there is a double increase in cyber stalking, abusive emails, SMSs, and phone calls, and social media-related crime. In most of the occasions, it is the acquaintances of women at work or neighbourhood. But women mostly fear to lodge a complaint so the Police nab the culprits and leave them with stern warning with out filing the cases.
