3000 acres pooled in for AP Capital!

land-pooling-AP-capitalCapital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has managed to pool in 3000 acres from farmers of 13 villages. Farmers have already given agreement letters for these 3000 acres. The land pooling is going on at slow pace than expected due to shortage of staff and other technical reasons.

Government is expecting the land pooling exercise to speed up after Sankranthi. The land pooling in remaining 16 villages will also begin after Sankranthi. They have targeted February 6th to pool in 30000 acres required for the capital. It is said that farmers of river side have also softened their stand a bit and some of them are coming forward to donate lands.

Singapore Experts Team is currently working on the master plan of the capital city. They are expected to submit it by June and the construction will begin immediately. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu who promised a World Class Capital to the people of the state will personally monitor the capital construction by shifting base to the Temporary capital.
