Another atrocity came to light in Hyderabad even before the case of gang rape of a minor girl in Jubilee Hills is out of public memory.
Four days ago, a minor girl (11) was kidnapped by a cab driver. The incident took place at the Mughalpura police station in Hyderabad.
While the girl was walking in the Sultanshahi area, a cab driver named Lukman tricked her into kidnapping her offering to drop her at home.
The girl was then taken to the Kondurg area of the Rangareddy district.
She was dropped off in the Sultanshahi area again on Saturday morning.
The girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the police, who arrested Lukman and two of his accomplices.
Mughalpura police are conducting an in-depth investigation into who sheltered the cab driver in the Kondurg area and if there was there a rape?
Meanwhile, there is a sense of fear in the parents of girls in the city about the safety of their children.
