The management of Agrigold has approached the High Court to challenge the land acquisition by the family members of former minister Jogi Ramesh. The petition alleges that Jogi Ramesh’s family seized land that was under CID attachment, sold it to others, and profited from the transactions.
This legal action follows previous controversies involving Jogi Ramesh, including a case related to an assault on Chandrababu Naidu’s house. The petition specifically accuses Nageswara Rao, a former sub-registrar, of conspiring with Vijayawada Rural Tehsildar Balaji Naik and Jogi Ramesh’s family members in the illegal land grabbing.

The Agrigold management requests immediate court orders to protect the lands in question. The land in dispute is located in Survey No. 87 of Ambapuram Village in Vijayawada Rural Mandal and was allegedly sold by Jogi Ramesh’s family members with the collusion of certain government officials.
Jogi Ramesh has been notably absent from the media since the second week of June. He faces legal trouble for allegedly inciting a mob attack on Chandrababu Naidu’s house, and a case has been filed against him. To prevent police action, Jogi Ramesh has sought anticipatory bail from the High Court. However, his arrest seems imminent in the coming days.
