Hyderabad Metro got stalled thrice in the last 30 hours or so. Besides Technical issues, Metro services are being disrupted due to hoardings falling on Power lines of Metro due to gusty winds. Civic authorities did not take any care to prevent such incidents as a result, the services are getting disrupted at least for half an hour every time.
If there is an issue at one place, the entire Metro Rail Corridor is being affected as a result. 1000s of passengers are stuck in the stations and trains as a result. If this is not taken care of, it will become a huge menace in the upcoming monsoon season.
Metro Rail Services are very essential for commuting during the Rainy Season and commuters will face a huge problem if they are suspended due to simple issues like this. A simple solution would be a joint task force of GHMC and Hyderabad Metro to identify such hoardings which pose a potential threat and remove them on war-footing but the officials are blind to this.
