Andhra Pradesh government is in talks with Akshardham Trust to establish Akshardham kind of project (Delhi) in the state. This project will be executed in Public Private Partnership to develop the tourism in the state. If the trust agrees government is planning to allot land in pilgrim place like Simhachalam.
One private organization have come up to develop a project ‘Famous Temples of India’ with 355 Crores. The project site will have replicas of all the famous temples of India at one place. Bhoomi Puja of this project will take place in February 2nd week. Government allotted land in Tirupati for this project.
The government also invited a detailed project report (DPR) from a Malaysian agency which came forward to establish International Conventions in Tirupati and Vishakapatnam. Chandrababu Naidu has vowed to develop the state in tourism sector by making use of the state’s temples and second longest coast line in the country.
