Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao’s silence over the death of Rohit Vemula in Hyderabad Central University surprised every one. TRS is one party who never let go such opportunity. In fact, Kavitha’s Telangana Jagruthi was first to agitate against this issue.

However TRS silenced on this issue all of sudden. Also KCR and KTR are yet to speak a word on this issue. It is said that KCR received a secret message from Amit Shah not to rake up the issue as it has potential to unsettle the ruling party ahead of the crucial Budget session.
TRS leaders themselves admit that given the need of Center for the state and the possibility of joining NDA government in future silenced the party on this issue. Also KCR do not want to corner Bandaru Dattatreya who is close to him.
