BJP President Amit Shah’s Telangana Tour was postponed for the second time in a row. The first time, it was postponed in the last minute due to Union Cabinet reshuffle and now the tour which was planned in October is again postponed.

Gujarat will be going to Assembly Elections in January, the next year and Amit Shah informed the state unit that he could not spare time till the Gujarat elections which may take place in January. The tour will only happen then.
Meanwhile, BJP general secretaries will take up whirlwind tours of the starting next month to prepare the party to emerge as an alternative to the TRS. BJP has pinned high hopes on Telangana to increase its seat tally in the next elections.
