Amul is leading meaningful brand in India surpassing global brands like Cadbury, Google, Samsung etc. A study conducted by the Havas’ Meaningful Brands 2015 revealed these facts. The study aims to know how our quality of life and well being connected with brands.

The study also noted that in India 75 percent people believes that brands will improve the quality of life whereas in the Asia Pacific the average stood at 69 percent against worlds average of 67 percent. Amul(Anand Milk Federation Union Limited) brand founded by Verghese Kurien widely acclaimed as Father of White Revolution In India. The company started in 1946 selling milk and milk related products with headquarters in Anand, Gujarat and evolved biggest milk supplier in India.
The top 10 meaningful brands in India in 2015 were Amul, Cadbury, Google, Britannia, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), Microsoft, Intel, HP, Parle and Samsung. While globally the top 10 brands included Samsung, Google, Nestlé, Bimbo, Sony, Microsoft, Nivea, Visa, IKEA, Intel.
