Hyderabad Got Developed, Now Cities in AP: CM CBN

Chandrababu Naidu announces city development plan in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has promised that the NDA will come to power for a fourth term in 2029. He expressed confidence that the alliance will win both at the Centre and in the state. Naidu said, “Take it in writing.”

This time, CM Naidu is focused on developing Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati. He explained that while his previous government worked on Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Tirupati, and Warangal, growth concentrated in Hyderabad due to a mix of factors.

Naidu highlighted that every state usually has one dominant city. For example, Karnataka has Bengaluru, Tamil Nadu has Chennai, and Telangana has Hyderabad. He pointed out that Andhra Pradesh’s economy is 35% agriculture, while Telangana’s service sector accounts for 67%, explaining the income differences.

The CM emphasized boosting IT, health, tourism, banking, and education to strengthen the knowledge economy. He also stressed the need to develop food processing and food-based industries to ensure overall growth across Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu Naidu, with his experience in building a capital, aims to replicate this development strategy to create a balanced growth model for Andhra Pradesh.
