AP Govt Goes to Supreme For The Fourth Time Against Nimmagadda

Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar - YS JaganAndhra Pradesh Government has approached the Supreme Court for the Fourth Time to issue a stay on High Court’s Judgement to reinstate Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar as the State Election Commission. The High Court asked Nimmagadda to meet the Governor and ask for a re-appointment.

As Nimmagadda met the Governor today, the State Government hurriedly approached the Supreme Court for a stay against the High Court Ruling. The Government thinks this move will delay Ramesh Kumar’s reinstation and it may get a favorable ruling in Supreme at a later date.

The State Government seems to be adamant in not seeing Nimagadda Ramesh Kumar back which will hurt the ego of those in Power. It is known to our readers how the Chief Minister took it personally and lambasted the former SEC in a Press Meet in the name of Caste as well.

It remains to be seen what kind of decision Governor Bishwabhushan Harichandan would take on this.
