Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inducting four YSR Congress MLAs into his Cabinet has become a point of discussion everywhere. BJP, the ruling party at the Center is trying to behave as if it is holier than thou. Venkaiah Naidu a couple of days ago demanded them to resign.

Daggubati Purandeswari who do not see eye to eye with Naidu wrote a letter to Narendra Modi and Amit Shah saying that Chief Ministers of both the states are resorting to unethical practices. Interestingly, it took about 3 years for Purandhareeswari to complain about KCR and we all know why.
But then, does BJP has moral high ground to criticize KCR or Naidu. BJP has inducted a Congress MLA into the Cabinet in Manipur very recently. We all know, how it has poached Suresh Prabhu from Shiv Sena. But then, the saffron party is trying to take advantage of Public’s Short Memory.
In fact, no party has the moral high ground to criticize defections as all of them have encouraged them at will when needed. The change should come within the system by strengthening the anti-defection laws. Or else, people like KCR will use them and people like Naidu will get inspired from KCRs.
