Devara Ticket Rates

Andhra Pradesh Government had issued a Special G.O. with exemplary sops. Extra Shows and Ticket price hikes were allowed for NTR’s Devara.

This is the first time six shows permission has been granted for a film in Andhra Pradesh in many years. The Price hike is also massive when compared to any big film in the last five years or even more.

Producer Naga Vamsi who bagged the Rights of Devara for AP and TG applied for Permission and promptly got it.

Blue Media has started sermons about how Ticket Rates will impact the common man.

TDP+ Government is clear about its priorities. Harassing the Film Industry is not on its do-to list.

Film Tickets are not essential for the people. It is a business and the manufacturer will decide the price at which it should sell.

So, the TDP+ Government had decided that those making films would determine the price. In this case, Devara Producers and Rights Holder asked for a specific price and permission was issued.

The same people conveniently forgot how the previous ruling party made money by selling cheap quality liquor at exorbitant prices.

Who can forget YV Subbareddy increasing the Seva Ticket Prices of TTD like an auction in the Fish Market? How about the ‘Chettha Tax’ on Common people?

The Blue Media can argue that Entertainment is a necessity. But it is not a necessity to rush to the theaters as soon as it is released.

We have Pushpa 2 and Gamechanger releasing in December. The Price Hike will be given as sought by the producers of those films.

There is no discrimination like in the Jagan Government. We have seen a separate rate list for Pawan Kalyan films.

Producers and heroes had to plead with the Chief Minister to spare them. A production house even had to give party fund to the YSR Congress in the form of an Electoral Bond to get the Rates.




Compared to that, the TDP+ Government is very democratic and has a policy in place. The Blue Media can continue to break bangles for the next five years.
