Reports are emerging that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed a possible elevation of his son, Nara Lokesh. Naidu reportedly told TDP (TS) leaders the other day that Lokesh will be inducted into Andhra Pradesh cabinet very soon which indicates Lokesh may be sent to the council as MLC.

Lokesh several times condemned the rumours of going as MLC but then looks like there is no way out unless some MLA resigns to give his seat to the Nara Scion which is unlikely. Lokesh is appointed as the party’s Chief Secretary in 2015 and from then is being active in the party affairs.
If the elevation happens, the next two years or so will be very crucial for Lokesh. He has to prove his mettle and convince the people that he is an apt scion for his father who is greeted as one the visionary leaders in the country.
