The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu is working on the ambitious mission of developing Amravati as inclusive and sustainable capital of the state. This is going to be a challenging task, but the Chandrababu Government appears to be up for the challenge.
One of the primary concerns that must be addressed by the Andhra Pradesh, government on priority is the talent drain and immigration that’s been happening to neighbouring cities like Hyderabad and Chennai.
A large of the educated youth in Andhra Pradesh has already shifted to Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai for better employment opportunities, and this is due to the fact that Andhra Pradesh does not have a strong IT based capital.
This important problem was brought up by Chandrababu Naidu as he addressed the public at the launch of renewable power plant in Anakapalli today.
Chandrababu confidently said the people of Andhra Pradesh did not move to cities like Hyderabad in Chennai anymore as AP will be getting a consolidated capital in Amaravati. Sometime in the near future, even the people of Hyderabad and Chennai will have to relocate to Amaravati, he says.
This was followed by a reality check that was given by Chandrababu as he said the companies were terrified by the Jagan administration between 2019 to 2024. So the situation is such that company are even scared to look at AP and the new government is having to undo a lot of the bad work from previous tenure. Once the upscaling has done, Amaravati should be an optimal firing engine for the entire state.
