While the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh has opposed the simultaneous elections for the Parliament and Assembly, TRS in Telangana has supported the Central Government’s idea. The party has met the Law Commission and gave its assent.

TRS Supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao is of the opinion that it is better to go for early elections since the Opposition is in absolute shambles and early elections will not give them the time to recover. TRS is riding on the back of recently announced Farmer’s Investment Scheme to make it big in the elections.
On the other side, Chandrababu Naidu is busy dolling out various welfare schemes targeting almost all the sections of Andhra Pradesh and wants more time to complete them. Moreover, Water can be given through Gravity of Polavaram by 2019 and so wants to showcase it as his achievement.
