CBN Takes Charge: First Sign On These Files

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh yesterday, has officially taken charge today at the state’s secretariat.

Amidst the Vedic chants of pandits, Chandrababu took his duties officially at his chamber in the first block of the secretariat.

AP Chief Secretary Neerabh Kumar Prasad, Ministers Atchannaidu, Kollu Ravindra, Payyavula Keshav, Nimmala Ramanaidu and others were present at this ceremony.

Officers and secretariat staff gave Chandrababu Naidu a grand welcome.

Fulfilling promises made during elections, Babu made his first sign on the documents of the Mega DSC, creating 16,347 teaching jobs in the state.

These positions include 6371 SGT posts, 132 PET posts, 7725 school assistant posts, 1781 TGT posts, 286 PGT posts, and 52 principal posts.

His second sign was on the cancellation of the Land-Titling Act. The third sign was regarding an increase in monthly pensions to Rs. 4,000.

The fourth and fifth signs were on the documents of restarting Anna Canteens across the state and introducing the Skill Census program, respectively.

Before taking office as CM, Chandrababu Naidu visited the temples in Tirumala and Vijayawada earlier today.
