Andhra Pradesh cabinet had decided that the budget session of the state assembly will take place in Hyderabad itself. The cabinet is of the opinion that a private resort or University can not host the budget session.

The Chief Minister also voiced the same opinion. The budget session will begin on February 29th or March 1st. The budget will be tabled in the house in the first week of March. It has to be seen if the opposition will allow the house to function especially after the suspension of YSR Congress MLA, Roja for one year.
AP is likely to come up with a 1.3 Lakh budget as indicated by finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu few days ago. Already the finance department is working on preparing the budget.
