There is a talk on social media that AP CID has been going out of its way to come against the YCP government’s opponents. After troubling Chandra Babu with the skill case, the CID is now coming after Lokesh.
The CID had recently filed a complaint at the ACB court, saying Lokesh is threatening them by warning them about his ‘red book’ through which he vows to take revenge on them. The CID has sought permission to arrest Lokesh over the same.
Upon the court’s suggestion, AP CID sent a notice to Lokesh to explain his actions pertaining to the red book. The interesting thing is that the notice was sent to Lokesh through a WhatsApp communication.
Lokesh acknowledged the same and responded to the WhatsApp notice from CID. The complaint is that CID officers feel threatened by Lokesh’s recent comment where he said he has made note of all the officers who troubled TDP leaders and vowed to give it back to them after TDP forms the government in 2024.
The ACB court adjourned the hearing on the case to 9 January. The CID has now sent a related notice to Lokesh.
