Pensions Distribution started in Andhra Pradesh by 6 AM today. As promised during the campaign, the increased pension of 4,000 Rupees and arrears of 3,000 – a total of 7,000 Rupees is being distributed by Secretariat Staff across the staff.
Volunteers are kept aside in the Pensions distribution to prove a point that it can be done with Secretariat Staff alone. Jagan Mohan Reddy denied that during elections and killed 33 people.
Meanwhile, every public representative right from the Chief Minister are participating in the Pensions distribution today.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh attended the program in the ST colony of Penumaka, Mangalagiri constituency at 6 AM today.
Chandrababu went into the house of Pamula Naik and spoke to his family. The CM handed over the pension and immediately sanctioned them a house after seeing them live in a thatched hut. Pamula Naik has Old-age pension while his daughter received widow pension.
The CM also motivated the sons of Pamula Naik to study well and take good care of the family.
The entire colony was on roads as the CM and the Minister stopped at every Gadapa and spoke to the people.
People also took selfies with them. There is happiness all over. People were surprised and happy that the CM himself has come to their colony and houses.
Penumaka is one of the capital villages that gave lands in land pooling and suffered the last five years.
After that, a small Rachabanda like program was arranged. There is no stage erected.
Chandrababu took questions from the people. Until a few months ago, the same people were stopped house-arrested whenever Jagan goes in the route and the road used to be covered with curtains on both sides.
All public representatives, TDP and Janasena leaders are going house to house for pensions distribution today.
Until now, Jagan used to claim patent for Door Delivery of Pensions. Chandrababu tweaked it and gave it a different color by himself going to the people and at the same time by keeping volunteers aside.
