We are a few hours away from the results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. The counting will be done tomorrow and the results will be out every round.
The counting process will start at 8 am. By 11 AM, there will be clarity on who will come to power in AP.
The postal ballot votes will be counted first from 8 am and the votes cast in EVMs from 8.30 am.
However, as a large number of postal ballot votes were cast, there will be a delay in the counting but EVM votes counting will begin at 8.30 AM.
Special counters have been set up to count postal ballot votes. Also, the EC appointed 119 observers for AP in the context of counting.
About 3.33 crore people exercised their right to vote in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. Also, 4.61 lakh postal ballot votes were lost. 26,473 voters voted through home voting. 26,721 service voters voted electronically.
This is the highest-ever voter turnout in the history of Andhra Pradesh. Also, AP had registered the highest voter turnout among all the states in the country

On the other hand, when it comes to assembly constituencies, Kovvuru and Narasapuram assembly seats are likely to get the first results. Also, counting will be completed in 13 rounds in these two places. The results will be revealed within five hours after the counting starts.
