A crucial meeting will take place today in Delhi in the chair of Union Commerce Minister, Nirmala Seetharaman regarding the Special package promised to Andhra Pradesh and other unsolved problems related to it. Union Ministers from TDP, Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Sujana Chowdary will be attending the meeting which will be also attended by Secretaries of Financial affairs, expenses, Revenues and Commerce.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently in his Delhi visit met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers and put in several demands like Special Status, Tax incentives for industries, 24,350 Crores of Special Development package.
Chandrababu also demanded center to bear the first year deficit of 24,811 Crores in the budget as grants which was promised according to the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. Even though the package will be decided today, it may not be announced now.
