TDP Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh and MLC B.Tech Ravi sat for a Deeksha demanding the Steel Plant for Kadapa which the Central Government has turned down citing feasibility issues. The Deeksha had a minimal effect on the Politics or People, to be frank.

This is because CM Ramesh had mostly confined himself to Naidu’s Vicinity but do not have much touch with the masses. Janasena foot soldiers spread a rumour that CM Ramesh’s weight increased after Deeksha in the Social Media and TDP did nothing to curb it.
The final nail in the coffin came when a video of TDP MPs surfaced in which they are joking about the Railway Zone and the Deeksha. Murali Mohan was seen saying he will sit for a One Week Deeksha to lose weight. The credibility of the Deekshas of the politicians is always in doubt.
This comments by an MP of own party kill it further. Naidu should realize that his leaders are cutting the branch they are sitting. If he does not rein them, it will only cause irreparable damage. This may also call for a serious action on some of his indisciplined MLAs and MPs.
