The YSR Congress Party has been spreading fake information and videos about the Telugu Desam Party on social media and is trying to manipulate voters before the elections.
Throughout this election season, numerous fake videos have surfaced from the YCP’s social media team, all of which were effectively countered by the TDP.
Today, the YCP released yet another edited video projecting that TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu opposes reservations for SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.
However, the TDP’s social media handle quickly shared the unedited version of the video from Chandrababu Naidu’s recent interview with journalist Smitha Prakash, proving YCP’s allegations wrong.
The video clip was manipulated by the YCP, where it had cut Naidu’s statement midway and tried to project him to be against the reservation policy. Nevertheless, the TDP quickly counter-attacked YCP by sharing the unedited version of the video.
In the video, Naidu says, “We have given reservations for SCs, STs, Muslims and certain sections over seven decades. Is their situation better today? Is it not our responsibility to do something more radical to better their lives?”
He opined that a radical idea should be implemented by the government for the empowerment of these people.
He further added that reservation is the need of the hour which cannot be ignored. “But reservations alone cannot solve the problem. We need to think beyond reservations and come up with radical schemes that can empower their lives,” said Naidu.
Once again, YCP’s fake propaganda has been exposed on social media and netizens are trolling the party for its lame tactics.
