Hyderabad is undoubtedly one of the biggest software hubs in the country. But the city is not making any significant in the front of hardware development. Earlier last year, the government announced broad plans to help the segment.

But there seem to be no significant progress. Even the T-Hub, Telangana government’s start-up incubator, Hardware start-ups are just a mere 10% of the total companies in there. Hardware start-ups claim that the government is not itself very clear or helpful to them like software companies.
However there is also an argument that there is a dearth of Hardware expertise among the talent of the state as they are more tilted towards software courses. State government needs to address these issues immediately to bolster the crucial segment.
