In a shocking accident, an Indian origin man died at a pedestrian crossing in the USA state of Florida after being hit by a car.
Mariappan Subramanian, 32, who was working as a test lead at HCL Technologies, was walking at a pedestrian crossing in the Tampa area of Florida. Incidentally, he was hit by a speeding car.
Reportedly, the speeding car jumped a red light before hitting Mariappan.
Mariappan recently moved from Jacksonville to Tampa and he is survived by his wife and a 4-year-old son who live in India.
Mariappan died on Monday at Hillsborough County in Tampa. This distraughtful news left his family in a state of shock and they are grieving the sudden death.
A fundraising campaign is underway now on GoFundMe portal as efforts are being made to transport the mortal remains back to India to reach the family.
