Janasena President Pawan Kalyan has chosen former Chief Secretary IYR Krishna Rao for a fact-finding committee to ascertain facts about the central assistance to Andhra Pradesh. IYR has differed with the TDP Government and has become an Opposition himself.

So, there are apprehensions over his addition in the committee. On the other side, IYR has filed a Public Interest Litigation against the Swiss Challenge method adopted by the State government for the development of 6.84 square km start-up area in Amaravati.
The high court has taken it into consideration and found faulty with IYR filing this PIL when he was the part of the government which proposed the Swiss Challenge. The court asked if he wrote a dissent note on the file back then but IYR said he does not remember.
The court reminded him that PIL cannot be used for his other intentions. The court also expressed its anger on IYR for not disclosing his association with the government when the Swiss Challenge Proposal is made. This episode implies IYR is trying to be anti-government and Pawan Kalyan may not have made a good choice.
