BRS has topped the regional parties with the highest income in the country. The total income of all regional parties is Rs. 1740.48 crores. Out of this, the income of BRS is Rs. 737.67 crores, which is noteworthy as it accounts for 42.38 percent of the funds.

These details were revealed in the report released by the ‘Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR)’ on the income and expenditure of regional parties for the financial year 2022-23. ADR prepared this report based on the audit reports submitted by 39 out of 57 regional parties in the country for 2022-23.

According to the report, Trinamool Congress is in second place with an income of Rs. 333.45 crore, DMK is in third place with Rs. 214.3 crore, BJD is in fourth place with Rs. 181 crores, and YSRCP is in fifth place with Rs. 74.78 crore. It is noteworthy that the revenue of the remaining 34 regional parties is Rs. 199 crores.




ADR reported that political parties in the country collected election bonds worth Rs. 2797.35 crores for 2022-23. Out of this, national parties received Rs. 1510.61 crores (54 percent), while regional parties received Rs. 1285.82 crores (46 percent).
